My mortgage career started over 25 years ago. Through those years, I dedicated myself to loan originations and now I am proud to be the Assistant Director of Mortgage Banking for Meridian Bank. I hire and train new team members as well as oversee daily processes. My father fought in the Army during the Korean War and my brother served in the Navy so service members hold a special place in my heart. I studied Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at the University of Baltimore. In my down time, I enjoy reading, spending time with loved ones and family, participating in Church and volunteering with My Sister’s Circle. Since 2004, I have been dedicated to the thousands of homeowners I have helped navigate the mortgage process. My experience as a real estate agent prior to my lending career enhances my effectiveness as a client advocate, and I would be honored to advocate for you and others like you who have served our country. I live in Baltimore County, Maryland with my husband, two boys and two boxer pups. I have a passion for fitness, and I love cooking, watching my kids play sports and really anything that involves water and sunshine.

Thank you for stopping by to get to know a little bit about me. I have been a mortgage loan officer for over 30 years. For the past 15+ years I have also managed a team of loan officers while continuing to produce mortgages myself. I feel it is important to lead by example. Prior to being a loan officer, I was a Russian Linguist in The United States Air Force where I proudly served for 10 years. I studied and practiced Judo for over 50 years. Thanks to my military and martial arts backgrounds, I am organized and dedicated to everything I do. My goal is to protect my clients and make sure they are fully informed of all their options. I approach each client as I would a family member or close friend. There is no greater joy than knowing I have helped someone achieve their dream of home ownership.

In the four years that I’ve been a loan officer, I have excelled rapidly, and now I manage multiple mortgage branches for Meridian Bank. Prior to mortgages, I have years of experience in the real estate market where I acquired a vast knowledge pertaining to buying, selling, and renovating. I was also a retail pharmacist for over a decade which taught me the importance of asking the right questions, understanding my customers’ needs, and offering creative solutions. I dedicate myself to client satisfaction and take pride that I now have over 100 Zillow reviews. I look forward to providing this same level of service to our military and their families. I am a native of Howard County and enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends. I also am fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.

In the 28 years I’ve been originating mortgages, I have accrued significant knowledge and experience. There are a lot of lenders to choose from and most will tell you what you want to hear.
